On 18th February 2014, Professor Michele Goldzieher Shedlin, guest professor of our Faculty, was officially naturalized as a Hungarian citizen.

Professor Shedlin of the NYU College of Nursing taught for a semester at the Faculty of Dentistry in the academic year 2012/2013 as a Fulbrighter. Among her Hungarian ancestors such notable scientists are found as Ignác Goldzieher, the famous orientalist and Vilmos Goldzieher, author of the first textbook of ophthalmology in Hungarian.

The Faculty congratulates Professor Shedlin on her naturalization.
