Care of injured and disabled children and adults

nitrogenoxidul
In 1844, for the first time in history, dentist Horace Wells extracted a tooth under nitrous oxide anaesthesia

We at the Department apply anaesthesia to “hard to treat patients”.

This group includes not only patients who suffer from dental phobia or have a panic syndrome, but also patients with pharyngeal reflex increase, those suffering from certain neurological diseases (epilepsy) and a large number of disabled patients (predominantly the mentally handicapped).

Our goal is to treat patients by idenfiyng the anaesthetic technique that suits them best. This will help not only deal with the fear of pain but also in teaching the patient to accept treatment.

Opportunities for anaesthesia:

premedication, various forms of sedation (conscious sedation, intravenous sedation), narcotization.
