The Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) is an independent European organization representing academic dentistry and the community of dental educators. ADEE plays an important role by enhancing the quality of education, advancing the professional development of dental educators and supporting research in education and training of oral health personnel. ADEE brings together a broad-based membership across Europe comprised of dental schools, specialist societies and national associations concerned with dental education.
ADEE members are European university dental schools, specialist societies or other national dental bodies concerned with or related to dental education.
Each year, ADEE holds it annual conference in one of the member countries. In 2015, the Annual ADEE Meeting will be held in Szeged, Hungary, organized by the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Szeged.
In the end of February this year, the representatives and international delegates of ADEE visited the University of Szeged. The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Nagy hosted a three-day meeting, including presentations and the introduction to possible locations of the future meeting. After the successful event, representatives reported Szeged as a very promising future location of the forthcoming event.
In August 2014, representatives of the University of Szeged will attend the 2014 meeting in Riga, Latvia, where the Local Organising Committeewill present on the venue of the 2015 conference to the participants.
Hopefully, this international collaboration will take one futher step in the internationally and worldwide accepted dental education at the University of Szeged.
